Personal Artifact

                                                                     Personal Artifact

Since I wakeboard my personal artifact is my wakeboard. I started on a Shawn Watson Hybrid. The bored size was a 134 and it had built in fins for it was easier to control. It had screwed in fins also which kept the bored from having less control.  It was wider also so you would have more balance to stand on it and it wouldn't be that hard to go off ramps and do tricks. But then sadly I stopped wake boarding. Then I wanted to do it again. So I put my feet in the Shawn Watson Bindings and the bindings where way to small. Then I sized the board for me and it was also to small. So I had to get a new board. I got a Peak Hybrid with system bindings it was so nice. It was the lighter board they made. It also had the most flex. All wakeboard are made out of fiberglass. My board was made out of wood and fiberglass. It was the only board like that. I loved it I never wanted to stop riding it. It was great for doing tricks and it has amazing pop. Wish I was out there riding right now.

What was the first wakeboard you road?

The first time I went wake boarding I kept falling. I couldn't get up. Then on the fourth try I got it. I was so happy. I made it around the first turn and around the second turn but then when I came up to the third turn I fell and sprained both of my ankles and got knockedout out. After I got back up and I tried walking back I almost couldn't even get out of the water my ankles were killing me. I didn't know what to do. My friend came over and helped me. I was better a few hours later. Anyway I wake bored at Ski Rixen. I go every weekend. I have been wake boarding at Ski Rixen for 1 year. Then I stopped and I just started again. I got so much better then I was before. I use a liquid force peak hybrid board with system bindings. The first time I saw wake boarding I wanted to do it so badly. My parents didn't think I was old enough. They thought it would hurt when I fell and maybe hurt to bad for me.  So I waited a few more years. Then they let me. The first time I fell it was a wake up call. I would of never thought it would hurt that bad. Then a few more times of falling it doesn't hurt after. But know I am much better. I barley ever fall now. I am so happy I started wake boarding now if I never saw it I probably would have never tried it.

How long have you been wake boarding for, what tricks can you do, and what bored do you use.
